What We Believe
God
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existent in three persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Deut. 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:18-19, Luke 3:32; John 10:30)
Sin
We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature. We are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace and through faith alone are we saved.
(John 3:16–19, 5:24; Romans 3:23, 5:8–9; Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus 3:5).
The Bible
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, were written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is God’s revealed Word to man. It is the sufficient, infallible rule and guide to salvation and all Christian worship and service.
(2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thess. 2:13)
Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of Mary, a virgin. (Matt. 1:23; Luke 1:31,35) He lived a sinless life. (Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22) He came into the world to save mankind from the guilt and condemnation of sin, (John 3:16) offering His blood as atonement (1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21) Jesus Christ made Salvation available to all who exercise faith in Him. Christ was Resurrected from the dead (Matt. 28:6; Luke 24:39; 1 Cor. 15:4) and is now exalted to the right hand of God the Father, interceding for His redeemed. (Acts 1:9, 11; 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1-3)
Salvation
We believe that all who receive, by faith, the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
(Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12)
